Let’s face it, overthinking is pretty common. You dwell or worry about the same thought repeatedly. People who overthink can be paralyzed by their worries and may struggle to make decisions or take action. Overthinking isn’t the same as healthy problem-solving. Problem-solving consists of thinking about a difficult situation when necessary and coming up with solutions. Overthinking, on the other hand, involves dwelling on the problem.' Overthinking is also different from self-reflection. Self-reflection can be healthy as it involves learning and gaining perspective about yourself in regard to the situation at hand. It is also purposeful. Overthinking is thinking about everything you don’t have control over, and then dwelling on how bad you feel about it. It does not help develop any insight into the situation. A healthy digestive system helps you filter your thoughts, absorb what you need, and excrete what you don't need. When your Spleen is in great shape, you won’t hold on to negative thoughts that race around your mind. When your digestive system is in rough shape, overthinking starts to take over. All of a sudden, you don’t control your thoughts, they control you! You can’t move on from them, and they just keep running around in your head. Tips to prevent overthinking: 1. Strengthen the digestive system with Spleen Tonic Soup Pack 2. Giving time to digest information and taking breaks when studying, working, thinking, strategizing, etc for more than 2hrs. 3. Eating up to 70-80% full. Study up to 70-80% full. Rest before you get mentally exhausted. 4. Calm the mind. You can drink this before the start of a hectic day or when you notice your mind is overthinking and worried. 5. Press Sp3 to help nourish and strengthen the digestive system. This is a great point for those who overthink, study, and think a lot. 6. Meditation can help a lot, esp because it trains the mind to focus on the breath or a mantra rather than the thoughts. 7. Going inward and asking yourself, what is it that is worrying me? Is it fear of failing, fear of being abandoned? #cleopatrassecretph #overthinking #anxiety
