FEU Institute of Arts and Sciences, through its Department of Communication, with academic partners, Atma Jaya Catholic University, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, University of the Philippines-Mindanao, Cavite State University, and Visayas State University, will hold the 1st FRAMEwork Asia-Pacific Communication Conference on November 24-25, 2022 via a hybrid set-up with the theme, “Disruptions and (re)constructions in the time of COVID-19: Turning the gaze on the Global South.” This conference aims to provide a platform for communication scholars and those from other related disciplines from Asia-Pacific to present their research projects that use alternative frameworks in communication. It is our pleasure to invite faculty members, researchers, and students of your institution/department to submit abstracts for and participate in the conference. The deadline of abstract submission is on October 31, 2022. At the conference, the participants will have the opportunity to attend plenary talks, parallel sessions, special lecture, roundtable discussions, best paper presentation, and fellowship. Please refer to the attached publication material for the conference description and sub-themes. Furthermore, FRAMEwork intends to cull research papers from the conference submissions for its first publication next year. FRAMEwork is an annual publication that seeks to put together scholarly works on traditional communication, new media, and advocacy communication.
