What I look forward to when we have the Seeing Doubles support group: hearing stories from parents who are at different stages of parenting their twins and triplets! During the weekend, all attendees have already welcomed their children. We talked about “small” wins. While we call it “small” it’s really those moments that keep us going! One twin past a year old showing the other how to use the potty, another twin at 7 months figuring out how to release an arm from getting stuck during a flip, secret twin language which both understand, calming baby after he cried for about 2 hours … amazing wins, witnessed during ordinary days. A big warm hug to our co-parents of multiples!!! Next time, we will all be unapologetic for our outfits (late morning meet-up and still in pajamas), our hair situation (come and join! No need to comb your hair!) and disorganized house (ummmm… don’t worry… sometime in the future, you’ll be able to fix the way you want. For now, go for what’s convenient for the family. Knowing where each item can be found is good enough😆).
