Cebu Pacific Advisory #2 Cancelled Flights Due to Emergency Runway Repair at Tacloban Airport As of April 3, 2024; 7:00 PM Due to the runway closure at Tacloban Airport for an emergency repair, Cebu Pacific (CEB) has cancelled its flights to Tacloban from Manila and Cebu scheduled from April 3 to 4, 2024. This situation is beyond our control, and we are working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines to assess the safety and operability of the runway. Here are the additional cancelled flights on April 3, 2024: • DG 6579/6580: Cebu – Tacloban – Cebu • 5J 657/658: Manila – Tacloban – Manila Here are the cancelled flights on April 4, 2024: • DG 6569/6570: Cebu – Tacloban – Cebu • 5J 649/650: Manila – Tacloban – Manila • 5J 2901/2902: Manila – Tacloban – Manila Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the CEB website 1. Free Rebooking Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date. 2. Travel Fund Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.) 3. Refund Full refund of your ticket. CEB is also offering flexible options, which include free rebooking and travel fund, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights to Tacloban scheduled from April 4 to 5, 2024. They may avail themselves of their preferred option through up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure. We will provide updates as necessary.
