KAPOK – soft to wear, soft on the planet The fabric used for the Kapok series is a blend of organic cotton and kapok – an environmentally-friendly plant grown without pesticides. By using a fabric that mixes kapok with cotton, it is softer and lighter than the conventional 100% cotton. Kapok fibres are harvested from the seed pods of the Kapok tree. Thanks to its hollow structure, Kapok is a very lightweight natural fibre – just an eighth the weight of cotton – with excellent moisture absorbing and heat retaining properties, as well as softness and elasticity.
