💥 A common misunderstanding in training is that intensity equals effort 💥 - @segoviastrength 👀Intensity refers to the % of your rep max or the amount of weight that's being lifted. This is objective. Effort on the other hand is subjective. It's how hard you push yourself regardless of the load. To put things into perspective: let's do some weighted jump squats at 30% RM to try to develop power qualities. That's a low intensity weight. But if we want the desired adaptation, effort & intent has to be very high. 💯Remember: The key to getting results for any training goal, is that all reps have to be done with high effort, otherwise little effort will cause little adaptations. 🔥For more fitness tips, follow our coaches at @segoviastrength! #SegoviaStrength #ChrisSportsPH #repost
