Rainy season officially began, it’s better to take a second look at your vehicle and check if your car is ready for the wet season. Here are some helpful tips on how to prepare your car for the rainy months ahead: 🚨 Turn on the headlights. Road visibility is low when it’s raining so make sure that other drivers see you when you’re out on the road. Do not turn on the hazard lights, unless it's an emergency. Hazard lights can create difficulty for the car behind in guessing your driving direction. 🚨 Ensure that tires are well-maintained. Worn-out tires will not offer much traction and grip when driving in the rain. Tires are important when braking to a stop. 🚨 Maintain a minimum safe distance. It’s best to give other drivers more space to avoid collisions. Braking can be more difficult so make sure to have a distance of several car lengths between you and others. 🚨 Utilize the windshield wiper accordingly with the amount of rain to maintain visibility. 🚨 Check or replace the battery. Dealing with a weak or faulty battery is a huge problem especially if your car breaks down in the rain. 🚨 Prevent the windows from fogging up with these methods: adjust the A/C temperature to match the outside environment, direct the A/C to not point towards the windows, or wipe the fog with a cloth. #yokohama #yokohamaph #yokohamaphilippines #ADVAN #Sport #V107 #tiretips
