7 Budgeting Apps to Help You With Your Financial Goals in 2022
by Angelique Borja

Take charge of your finances this year!

Managing your finances isn’t easy. You still end up spending money on tempting sales and discounts rather than saving what’s left every payday. It’s frustrating, especially if you’re trying to achieve a personal financial goal.

Keeping track of expenses can be a tricky thing to do, but these apps will help make managing your money nice and simple.

Goodbudget

Goodbudget is perfect for hands-on envelope budgeting. You manually add account balances (that you can pull from your bank’s website), as well as cash amounts, debts and income. Then you assign money toward envelopes. Goodbudget app is based on the envelope budgeting system, in which you portion out your monthly income toward specific spending categories (called envelopes).

The concept is simple: Take a few envelopes, write a specific expense category on each one — like groceries, rent or gadget loans — and then put the money you plan to spend on those things into the envelopes.

Together, you can set up monthly limits on each of these categories, and Honeydue will alert you when you or your partner is nearing them.

Honeydue also sends reminders for upcoming bills and lets you chat and send emojis.
