Converse has finally spoken about loving fearlessly. With the global campaign, #1❤️, aimed at the importance of self-love.

An unspoken taboo exists in society today, and liking your own social media post is frowned upon. This has put forth a message that says it’s wrong to like oneself, but this is exactly what the #1❤️ campaign wanted to address.

Over the Valentine’s weekend, February 14 to 15, Converse’s Love Fearlessly took over The Island in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. One of the initiatives involved is the Self-Love Project––an activity which encouraged individuals to write what they want to love fearlessly about themselves while staying entirely anonymous. The raw beauty of the initiative lies in its cathartic aspect, which provided an avenue for genuinely conveyed thoughts.
