After going on hiatus in 2019, the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is set to fill the sky with colorful hot air balloons once again! The much-anticipated Weekend of Everything that Flies has been officially announced via Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta’s official Facebook page, and it’s happening from March 6 to 8 at San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite.
The longest-running sports aviation event in Asia used to be held at Clark in Pampanga. But this year, Metro Manila residents are lucky enough to witness this grand event just in the south of the metro!
This year’s theme, Flying Carnival 2020, is going to be a vibrant 3-day event for spectators with a wide array of hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes flying in the air, various food and shopping finds at the fly market, aviation seminars, and fireworks display at night. Feeling extra adventurous? Then try tandem paragliding or ride a hot air balloon!
