Makati opens 'Festival of Lights' at the Ayala Triangle Gardens
by Emily Tan

If you thought that the Makati Street Lights was a treat for this holiday season then you would surely enjoy the Ayala Triangle Gardens’ Festival of Lights! Every year Ayala Triangle Garden in Makati gets lit up with the brightest and the most colorful lights to spread the Christmas cheer and joy. This year’s lights and sound show is presented by Ayala Land, in partnership with MasterCard, HSBC, and SunLife Financial.

Definitely a spectacle you shouldn’t miss, the Festival of Lights will light up every night from November 9, 2017 up till January 7, 2018. You will get to witness and enjoy their signature lights and sound show whenever you visit Ayala Triangle!

With more than 1.6 million led lights, the light show is expertly choreographed by award-winning directors Voltaire de Jesus and Luther Gumia. You will get to experience and watch three medleys that were beautifully arranged by acclaimed musicians and composers. The musical medleys have three distinct themes – “Pinoy Fiesta” by Roy del Valle, “Traditional Christmas” by Von de Guzman, and “Techno” by Tris Sunguitan.

Each medley will be staged every 30 minutes nightly. Each one boasts of a different mood, pace, and rhythm, while retaining the Christmas cheer that we all know and love!

Oh, but that’s not all! Ayala Land is also bringing the lights and sound show to its various estates across the country. It will be held at Vertis North, Nuvali, Bonifacio Global City, Centrio, and Ayala Center Cebu. The Christmas spirit must be shared far and wide, and this is what you can expect this year with Ayala Land’s Light Show.

So bring your family and friends to watch the majestic Festival of Lights that has made it to the list of Conde Nast Traveler’s Most Spectacular Lights in the World, in the company of distinguished luminaries such as the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark, the holiday lights display at the legendary Champs-Elysees in Paris and Japan’s Kobe Luminarie.

We want Christmas to be magical for everyone, which is why we have continued with this beautiful Christmas tradition that brings people together and lets them feel the joys of the season.
"

A statement by Shiella Aguilar, Ayala Land Project Development Head for Makati.

The show will happen daily every half hour from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM.
