Pink Escape: SM Woman Advocates Breast Cancer Awareness

With a one-day event entitled Pink Escape, SM Woman advocated Breast Cancer Awareness month last October 30, 2019, at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City by celebrating women of different life journeys with self-care talks, fashion and beauty workshops, and inspirational stories from celebrities and real individuals.

SM Woman Pink Escape was not only an event for breast cancer awareness, but it also aimed to inspire confidence and give hope to breast cancer survivors. There were several stations at SM Woman’s Pink Escape including the Experience Styling station where guests can get fashion and style tips for editor Donna Cuna Pita.

Truth is, every woman needs to be educated about breast cancer—it’s a necessary step towards self-love and a healthier life. Breast cancer-related talks and activities were shared, with educational talks on breast cancer prevention, detection, and awareness. There was also a cup sewing stations where the cups made by the guests were donated to breast cancer survivors.
