Poke Poke launches 4th branch at SM Megamall
by LoopMe Philippines

Poke Poke, the leading Hawaiian/Asian Fusion fast food restaurant in Metro Manila, opened its 4th branch last Tuesday, August 15, at the SM Megamall in Ortigas.

Poke Poke offers diners a playful take on poke, a traditional Hawaiian dish made from marinated cuts of fresh seafood. As a healthy and flavourful alternative to fast food, Poke Poke is highly regarded for its signature bowls such as the Basic, Samurai, and For the Rich Only, which marries traditional fare with flavors that Filipinos know and love.

“Poke Poke is a new and exciting home-grown concept that offers healthy and super delicious food,” said Head Chef Kel Zaguirre. “We offer cuts of fresh seafood that has been marinated, topped with different kinds of vegetables, pickles, fruits, and nuts over rice or quinoa.”

The first branch opened late last year at Estancia Mall in Capitol Commons, Pasig City. The restaurant developed a loyal following that 2 more branches opened shortly after in SM Aura at Bonifacio Global City, and 8 Missouri in Greenhills, San Juan.

Businesswoman, endorser, and blogger Divine Lee-Go and TV Host, columnist, and entrepreneur Tim Yap were on hand for the SM Megamall opening, along with Senior Vice President of SM Supermalls Steven Tan. The trio cut the ribbon and officially opened the store to the public. Head Chef Kel Zaguirre took a moment to thank guests and share his passion for Poke with them. They were joined by the co-owners, Speedy and Alta Lyttle.

“Our Megamall launch went very well. It was well-received by our guests and we’re very happy with the way the branch turned out,” shared co-owners Speedy and Alta Lyttle.

With the opening of the Megamall branch, Poke Poke’s brand of healthy and flavorful Poke bowls will be more accessible to diners all across Metro Manila.

“With the rising trend in health and fitness, mall-goers are always intrigued by what’s new,” the Lyttles added. “But I also think that the quality and taste of our food will be what they come back for!”

Poke Poke is located on the 2/F The Atrium, SM Megamall, Ortigas, Mandaluyong City and is open from Monday to Sunday.
