This September, fashion brand Monki from Sweden is entering the Philippine fashion scene with its creative collections, strong brand values and inspiring store concept.
Customers are invited to get the full Monki experience in the two new stores located in Manila. The brand will premier in SM Megamall on September 18 followed closely by the opening in SM Mall of Asia on September 25.
“We have a strong Monki following in Asia, and the Philippines is a new and exciting market for us. We can’t wait to grow our community and welcome our customers with open arms!’’ says Jennie Dahlin Hansson, Managing Director at Monki.
To celebrate the Philippine market entry, Monki will collaborate with brand ambassadors Gita Gumabao, Laureen Uy, Em Millan, and Issa Pressman who will share their advocacy for sisterhood, empowerment and inspiring #monkistyle on their social channels. And not least, follow @monki for the anticipated Monki Mozik Live stream with DJ Butta B on September 18, 2020.
In addition, stay tuned for the brand’s upcoming collaboration with Marika Callangan, artist and founder of Woman, Create – a Philippine-based art studio that advocates for intersectional feminism and empowerment for Filipino women and creatives. Marika has created an artwork representing the beautiful diversity of the Philippines, embodying sisterhood in all its wonderfulness. The full collaboration will be presented later this fall.
