The Minokaua formally opens its doors to the public last November 4, 2017 during Minokaua: Bite Night, a post Halloween event!

Fun fact though: the name is based on the giant bird-like Filipino mythological creature that swallows the moon whole.

The Minokaua is a gastropub where music, art, food, and drinks overlap and meet in one location. Situated in Malate, it is a place where the artsy people enjoy music and good food within the heart of Manila.

The grand opening featured awesome artists like Noli Aurillo, Banna Harbera, Ian Lofamia Band, Working Stiff, and Chillitees.

Some guests got a chance to chill and had an open jam with Bo Bismark and Kwerdas!

The Legendary Noli Aurillo dropped everyone’s jaws wide with his skills with the strings.

Banna Harbera played with the hearts of the crowd with their versatile pieces and lyrics of both fun and feels.

Ian Lofamia Band definitely removed the crowd's blues away with their own brand of blues.

They also served unlimited bottles of Heineken Beer up until 11:00 p.m. during the opening night!

When it comes to their food, The Minokaua offers both beer mates and meals. You may want to try their Laksa-Style Mussels and their signature Sisig Minokaua Rice, which will completely blow your mind.
