Trending: AirAsia Surprises the Public with Flights for as Low as 15 Pesos
by LoopMe Philippines

Flights as affordable as a train ticket, a bag of chips, or a cup of milk tea? Who wouldn’t want that?!

AirAsia shows the public why it’s regarded as the best airline in providing low fares. People from around Metro Manila got a taste of extremely low fares as #AirAsiaInManila Surprise Booths were put up with roundtrip tickets for as low as day-to day-prices of consumer goods.

At the MRT-3 Ayala Station, airport sounds coming from the speakers at MRT-3 Ayala Station indicated the start of AirAsia offering extremely low promo fares. Instead of choosing destinations from stations in the MRT line, passengers were able to check out travel destinations around Asia.

Some of the passengers going in and out of Ayala Station were lucky enough to get their hands on unexpected ticket sales with affordable domestic and international flights.

AirAsia Philippines CEO Captain Dexter Comendador said, “We appreciate our guests who have continued to fly with us and we want to let everyone know that we are here to give unparalleled low fares for anyone who wants to travel.”

Roundtrip fares given away at the station include local travels to Cebu and Iloilo for PHP15.00; Tagbilaran and Puerto Princesa for PHP20.00; and Davao for PHP25.00. International travels include Kaohsiung and Taipei for PHP25.00; Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, and Bangkok for PHP30.00.

Shoppers at Super8 Grocery Warehouse in Ortigas were caught off guard as airport sound effects revealed another surprise booth with snacks wrapped in AirAsia packaging concealing the different travel destinations. Customers had the chance to buy ticket fares as affordable as brownies, chips, and chocolate.

Roundtrip fares given away at Super8 include local travels to Cebu and Iloilo for PHP30.00; Bohol and Tacloban for PHP40.00; and Davao for PHP50.00. International travels include Hong Kong and Taipei for PHP50.00; and Kuala Lumpur, Bali, and Bangkok for PHP60.00.

Twenty domestic and 20 international flights coming from Manila were given away to shoppers and commuters with fares for as low as PHP15.00 for domestic flights and PHP25.00 for international flights.

“Just because you’re on a tight budget, doesn’t mean you can’t travel to breathtaking destinations.” Comendador shared. “This only proves our commitment in providing Filipino’s the opportunity to travel at low cost with only the best quality service.

In another surprise on March 4, 2019, AirAsia set up a ticket booth at Gong Cha store in SM Megamall where customers had the chance to buy airfare tickets as affordable as a cup of milk tea! Roundtrip fares priced for a total of PHP120.00 for flights to Bangkok or Seoul were given away.

The #AirAsiaInManila surprise booths will have ticket sales around Metro Manila in the coming days. So better be watchful of your surroundings to score a cheap flight to your dream destination!
