The kick-off celebration’s highlight was the ceremonial switch on of Uptown Bonifacio Christmas decors and giant Christmas tree by Megaworld’s Kevin L. Tan and Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso. A 40-feet Christmas Tree beside the musical fountain with giant lighted animal displays were all around the vicinity, spreading the annual yuletide cheer.
Armed Forces of the Philippines soldiers serenaded the crowd with their Christmas carol performances with their brass band.
The LED dancers also took the stage with their themed light choreographed show.
Chubby and slender Santa Clauses of different nationalities, carrying cute Santa dogs, were also present during the festivities
The celebration was topped off with a thematic LED light displays on the township’s buildings, and a grand fireworks display to end the show with a bang.
A light and fire show at the musical fountain will come alive nightly every 30 minutes and a Christmas Train Ride around the mall will be available from November 21 to 30. A Christmas Night Market will be open at the Uptown Parade from 5:00 PM until midnight. And the traditional Simbang Gabi at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Chapel will be held from December 15 until 24, surrounded with your Simbang Gabi favorite food stalls serving up puto bumbong and bibingka after the mass.
