Another must-try Korean snack is gaining popularity on social media!

As seen on K-dramas, local businesses are now serving their take on egg drop sandwich, a popular snack from South Korea. This huge, filling, and flavorful sandwich is packed with bacon, melted cheese, and either a runny sunny-side-up egg or fluffy scrambled eggs. They are all sandwiched in golden brown brioche toast and filled with creamy and sweet mayo-based “egg drop sauce”.

If the ingredients and photos are enough to make you want to try them, here’s a list of shops offering a variety of egg drop sandwiches for delivery.

Egg Drop MNL offers nine flavors of their homemade egg drop sandwich. They have the Breakfast SPAM and Egg (PHP115), made with slices of luncheon meat, fluffy egg, and cheese; Garlic Bacon Cheese (PHP100), made with crisp strips of bacon, egg, cheese, and garlic brioche bread. They also offer the Double Bacon Cheese (PHP115) and Ham and Cheese (PHP110) if you prefer thin slices of ham.

Tamago Drop has six interesting flavors of their mouthwatering egg drop sandwiches. They have the Double Sweet Glazed Ham (PHP100), Double Bacon (PHP110) and Ham and Bacon (PHP120), Ham Bacon Hashbrown (PHP135), Samgyupsal with Cheese Sauce (PHP130), and Korean SPAM with Nori (PHP130).

Egg & Go's Korean egg drop sandwiches are available in five unique flavors. The Yakisoba (PHP119) a mouthful of sandwich packed with yakisoba noodles, assorted veggies, pork belly, nori, pickled ginger, and tomato ketchup; the Beef Teriyaki (PHP139) consists of sweet beef, boiled egg, sriracha, and lettuce; the Smoked Bacon (PHP119) a combination of sriracha with bacon; the Kimchi (PHP139) has herbed pork belly and special kimchi; and the Shrimp (PHP129) which has buttered shrimp and cajun sauce.

Momo offers egg drop sandwiches in four flavors named after South Korea's popular cities. Each sandwich includes their special "Momo egg" and "Momo sauce”. They have the Gwangju sandwich (PHP160) which includes premium bacon and corn; the Busan sandwich (PHP160) with tuna and tomato; Jeju sandwich (PHP170) with premium ham and avocado; and the Seoul sandwich (PHP180) with SPAM, mango, and nori.

Smash Buns serves homemade egg drop sandwiches in eight exciting flavors.
