Located in the heart of Poblacion is the world-renowned Z Hostel and its iconic rooftop bar, Z Roofdeck. If you want a more relaxed vibe, just above the Z Roofdeck is the newly opened chill spot at Z Hostel with a stunning 360-view of Makati City. The hostel's rooftop Fun Deck or Sun Deck (during daytime) used to be a place for private gathering, but Z Hostel owners have finally decided to open it to the public — and we’re glad they did!

Come by at the Fun Deck/Sun Deck before the sundown and watch in awe as the sunset gives a short spectacular show of day-to-night transition of colors. Enjoy drinks with your friends while basking in the breathtaking view of dazzling city lights. Tables and chairs are available for reservation starting at PHP3,000 (consumable) for small tables and PHP5,000 (consumable) for long tables. It’s really an affordable spot to catch-up or celebrate with your friends, especially this holiday season. A reservation is required prior the visit due to limited seats. The best time to come here is around 5:00 PM when the sun is about to set.

Z Hostel has been a favorite among local and foreign backpackers and budget travelers, because of their clean and comfortable dorm-style accommodations starting at PHP1,250/bed with breakfast. They also offer an all-female dorm priced at PHP1,300/bed with breakfast, and a Private Room perfect for two persons for only PH3,000 inclusive of breakfast for two.
