The simplest definition of zero-waste is to send nothing to the landfill. The more complex and scientific description is to completely overhaul the system, to move to a circular economy, thus making waste obsolete. Basically, eliminating the idea of trash altogether.

Eco Hotel launched a zero-waste store with this goal in mind: introducing their call to action for BYOB (Bring your own Bottle). Guests can now take home their signature shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and lotion, provided they bring their own empty bottles for reuse. After the launch, they will have refilling stations in other properties to promote the package-free lifestyle.

The eco store offers bath essentials like shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, and lotion. The introductory price of the products is only at PHP99 per 250ml of container. The shelf-life is good for 12 months as long as it is in a tight-capped container.

Eco Hotel's refilling stations are only open every weekends at Spaces, Cabins, and Containers in Tagaytay for now. However, they have Eco Weekend Market every third weekend of the month in Containers, Tagaytay.
