The Art Deco style structure has been converted into a community museum to honor the memory of its patriarch, Sy Lian Teng. The First United Building Community Museum has become a haven of memorabilia owned and used by Sy Lian Teng-- like photos, equipment, documents and other personal items. It also showcases Escolta's environs through archival photos and articles culled from various periods.
